The quote is the thing the builder judges you on
A spreadsheet attachment says one thing about a yard. A proposal that reads like it was set by a printer says another — and it costs you nothing extra to send.
A designed proposal, not an export
Cover, an investment summary by pack, and the full material schedule — typeset, in your branding. Internal margin never appears in the customer copy; that lives in the spreadsheet only your team can pull.
Built for a phone
Builders read quotes in a truck. The quote page is the proposal itself, laid out for a phone, with the PDF one tap away at the bottom for anyone who wants the file.
Accept in one click
The builder types their name and accepts. You're notified, and the acceptance is recorded against that exact revision — not against a quote that has since changed.
Optional change requests
Off by default. Turn it on per quote and the builder can send specific line-level requests instead of a vague “can you sharpen this” phone call. Leaving it off keeps Accept the only action.
Engagement
Counted honestly, or not at all
Most tools inflate this. Ours doesn't count your own team opening the quote, and repeated loads by the same visitor inside half an hour collapse into one visit. When the page says three visits by two people, that's three visits by two people.
Email opens
Know whether the quote was opened at all, and when.
Distinct visitors
“Two people looked at this” is a different signal from “one person looked twice” — often the difference between a deal moving and a deal sitting.
Nothing invented
A quote that was never opened says “not opened yet”, not a hopeful number.

The customer's copy can't drift
Sending locks the quote
What the builder holds is what you sent. Changing it means creating an explicit Rev 2 — so nobody argues about which version was agreed.
Localised sales tax
The jobsite address comes off the plans and sets the tax jurisdiction for that bid. A yard quoting across county lines doesn't apply one company-wide rate to everything.
