Privacy Policy

BidLoggers · Effective July 25, 2026

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how BidLoggers collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Service. It applies to Yard users who create accounts and, where noted, to Builders who receive or view quotes. By using the Service you agree to this Policy.

2. Information we collect

Account and profile information: name, email, company, and role you provide.

Content you upload: building plans, price lists, project details, and the takeoffs, quotes, and proposals generated from them.

Builder and recipient information: the names, email addresses, and project details you enter or send quotes to, and information about how those recipients engage with quotes (email opens, quote-page visits, acceptances).

Billing information: your billing contact details and a token representing your payment method. Card and bank details are handled by our payment processor (Stripe) and are not stored on our servers.

Usage and device information: log data, approximate location derived from IP address, browser type, and a hashed visitor identifier used to count distinct quote-page visits.

3. How we use information

To provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service; to generate Outputs; to process billing; to send transactional messages (including quote delivery and engagement notifications to the sender); to provide support; and to comply with law.

To improve accuracy over time, we may use Your Content and Outputs, including in de-identified or aggregated form, to calibrate and evaluate our estimating models.

4. The builder network

The Service maintains a record of builders that Yards send quotes to, keyed by email, including which suppliers have quoted them and how they engage. This helps us understand demand and may, in the future, be used to connect a builder's request to a well-suited supplier through BidLoggers. We use this information at the platform level; a Yard sees only builders it has itself interacted with. We do not sell personal information.

5. How we share information

We share information with service providers who process it on our behalf under confidentiality obligations, including: Supabase (database, storage, authentication), Stripe (payments), Anthropic and Google (AI processing of plans and generation), Resend (email delivery), and our hosting provider. We may share information to comply with law, enforce our Terms, protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We do not sell your personal information.

6. Support access to your account

To provide support, onboarding, and troubleshooting, authorized BidLoggers personnel may access your account and the data in it, including your price lists and quotes. Every such session is time-limited, requires a stated reason, and is recorded in an audit log against the individual staff member. We access accounts only to operate and support the Service, and we do not use what we see to compete with you.

7. Data retention and security

We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We use administrative and technical safeguards — including tenant isolation, access controls, encryption in transit, and restricted service credentials — to protect information, but no system is perfectly secure.

8. Your choices and rights

You may access or update account information in the Service. Depending on your location (including under GDPR and the CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, contact legal@bidloggers.com; we will verify and respond as required by law. Builders who receive a quote may request deletion of their contact record by contacting us.

9. Tracking and analytics

Quote emails may include a pixel that tells the sending Yard when the email was first opened, and quote pages record anonymous, de-identified visit counts. We use essential cookies for authentication. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

10. Other

The Service is for business use and is not directed to children. Information may be processed in the United States. We may update this Policy; material changes will be reflected in the version and effective date and, where required, will prompt renewed acceptance.
